Lewis Brice with Cool Hawk Mike
Saturday October 14th
There is a grit that seems to seep from every note Lewis Brice sings. “I've always been a big believer in just keeping my head down and just grinding until you make it,” says the vocal powerhouse that has made a career out of a sound found squarely at the intersection of country, southern rock and R&B. “What's supposed to happen is going to happen. And at this moment, it seems like everything is starting to happen."
Cool Hawk Mike open the show! featuring Jessica Cooley, Jacque Hawk and Michael Baideme
08:30 PM - 11:30 PM
Empire Strikes Brass (Discoween) - Beer Garden
Friday October 27th
Empire Strikes Brass is a dynamic BrassFunkRock band hailing from Asheville, North Carolina. Their music resonates with a powerful message delivered through a captivating and larger-than-life sound. Fueled by a thumping rhythm section that sets the groove, the band's rich horn arrangements, performed by a robust horn section, add an extra layer of depth to both their original compositions and compelling covers, showcasing the evolution of ESB.
Formed in 2012, Empire Strikes Brass started as a group of friends who loved playing New Orleans-inspired second-line and funk tunes infused with elements of rock and jam. Over time, they have transformed into a collective of incredibly talented musicians, singers, songwriters, and producers. The result is a fresh and authentic sound that seamlessly combines their diverse musical influences while staying true to their roots.

Cognate Souls
Saturday November 4th
For some reason, the ’70s reached out and snatched Cognate Souls back like Sandman’s cane at the Apollo. We don’t know if it’s the draw of musical experimentation, the rebellious sentiment of self-exploration, or the wonky lettering that captures the era so well, but that vibe largely influences our sound without losing modern relevance. Cognate Souls is a group that represents our mission, All Souls + One Root = One Sound. Cognate Soul’s music sits on a funk foundation and incorporates soul, rock, gospel, afro Cuban rhythms, and Hip Hop to create its psychedelic soul sound. The live show is like having a band as your DJ, moving seamlessly between songs to keep the show lively, fun, and interactive.
10:00 PM - 12:00 AM
T. Hardy Morris & the Howdies
Friday November 17th
Presented by Broken Compass:
Georgia-born T. Hardy Morris (also billed as Hardy Morris) first came to fame as the guitarist and singer with the psych-influenced, defiantly Southern hard rock band Dead Confederate. After Dead Confederate's breakup, Morris made a name for himself on his own with his solo debut Audition Tapes, a low-key set of buzzy, country- and folk-inspired rock.
Morris veered into harder rocking territory on 2015's Neil Young-inspired Drownin' on a Mountaintop, while he explored darker and more personal themes on 2018's
Dude, The Obscure and 2021's The Digital Age of Rome. He's also recorded with the rollicking ad hoc group Diamond Rugs alongside members of Deer Tick, the Black Lips, and Los Lobos.
